Attorney Profiles

Mr. Foty was born in Houston, Texas and raised in San Marcos, Texas. He attended high school at the San Marcos Baptist Academy, where he graduated as the Salutatorian and was the highest ranking cadet in the school's JROTC program. After high school, Mr. Foty attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he was admitted into the prestigious Business Honors Program. While at the University of Texas, Mr. Foty was a member of the Honors Business Association and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Finance and Business Honors. During his senior year, Mr. Foty completed a successful internship at Merrill Lynch and attended the University of Houston Law Center after graduation.

While at the University of Houston Law Center, Mr. Foty served as a student attorney for the University of Houston Consumer Law Clinic and was a member of the Mock Trial Team and the Journal of Texas Consumer Law.

Before joining the law firm of Kennedy Hodges, L.L.P., Mr. Foty successfully completed a legal clerkship for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas and legal internship for the Business Litigation Division of the City of Houston Legal Department. Mr. Foty is a member of the American Trial Lawyer's Association and the American Bar Association.
